The archive

FlyerScene is a documentary archive of underground music flyers. By using FlyerScene, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Uploads

By uploading content you represent that you have the right to share it or that the use falls within fair use for archival purposes. You grant FlyerScene a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, process through AI, and store your uploads for the purpose of operating the archive. You retain any rights you had in the original work.

User stories and comments

Stories, memories, and other user-submitted text must be your own words. Do not submit spam, abuse, personal attacks, doxxing, illegal content, or personal information about others without their consent. We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion.

Moderation

We use an automated moderation system to review uploads and stories. Most submissions are processed in seconds. Some are flagged for human review and may be delayed. A small number may be rejected outright. If your upload is rejected and you believe it was in error, reply to the rejection email within 30 days and a human will review it.

Prohibited conduct

You may not: (1) scrape the archive without permission, (2) attempt to bypass rate limits, (3) upload content you do not have rights to, (4) upload CSAM or illegal content, (5) dox or harass other users, or (6) misrepresent your identity. Violations may result in account termination, content removal, and legal action where appropriate.

Copyright and DMCA

Paid directory listings

Businesses may buy a directory listing that appears on FlyerScene entity pages and in the public directory. A listing is a paid placement, not an endorsement, and does not transfer any ownership of the underlying archive content. What a listing includes depends on the plan shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

Billing. Paid listings are recurring monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your dashboard; cancellation stops future charges and the listing reverts to the free tier at the end of the current paid period.

Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Canceling stops the next charge but does not refund the current period. If a charge was a clear billing error, contact support@flyerscene.com within 30 days and we will make it right.

Content and review. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing and you represent that you have the right to use the business name, logo, and links you submit. Every listing and logo is reviewed before it goes public, and edits re-enter review. We may reject, remove, or take down any listing at our sole discretion, including for inaccurate, misleading, infringing, or prohibited content, or conduct that violates these terms. If a listing is removed for a policy violation, fees already paid are not refunded.

Verified badge. A "verified" badge is only granted after we confirm you manage the entity page it is attached to. Buying a plan does not by itself grant the verified badge.

No warranty

FlyerScene is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI-extracted metadata (dates, band names, venues) may contain errors. We make no guarantee about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StanHattie LLC and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of FlyerScene. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed USD 100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StanHattie LLC from any claim or demand arising out of your uploads or violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Polk County, Iowa.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
